Troy Turi

Alp Korkmaz is an actor. Born in Ankara in 1981, he completed his primary and secondary education in Çanakkale and Istanbul before beginning his university studies in the United States. After graduating from the Radio Television department of the University of South Florida, he went to New York to pursue acting. Following his training at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, one of New York's most prominent Broadway musical schools, he returned to Turkey in the summer of 2006. Just one month after his return, Korkmaz was discovered by Türker İnanoğlu and cast as Ali in the TV series *Arka Sokaklar*, produced by Erler Film.
