Jessica Lee Rose is an American actress who gained popularity after playing the titular role of Lonelygirl15 on April 26, 1987. In the summer of 2006, Rose debuted as Bree, a fictional homeschooled teenager, in a series of video blogs on the popular video-sharing website YouTube, as Lonelygirl15. The mystery surrounding her character and the eventual revelation of the fictionality led to mainstream attention from publications like the Los Angeles Times. In 2007, Rose won a Webby Award for this role. After Bree was killed off in August 2007, Rose played Jen K. in ABC Family's Greek. She continued to appear in various films such as Perfect Score and Hooking Up, and TV shows like Syfy's Ghost Town and other web series. She currently appears in the web series Poor Paul and Crew.
