Athenea Mata

Olgun Şimşek, born in 1971, rose to fame with the television show "Bir Demet Tiyatro." His subsequent performances in television series and films have established him as one of Turkey's top actors. He was born in Yenice village, Büyükorhan district of Bursa. He graduated from the Istanbul University State Conservatory, Department of Acting. He starred in the films "Tersine Dünya" (1993) and "Yer Çekimli Aşıklar" (1995). His role as Kudret in the BKM project "Bir Demet Tiyatro," which began in 1997, brought him widespread popularity. In 1998, he acted in "Karışık Pizza" and won the Promising New Male Actor award at the 11th Ankara Film Festival. In 2000, he played the character of Sabit in the television series "Yedi Numara." After the 2001 film "Yeşil Işık," his performance in Uğur Yücel's film "Yazı Tura" earned him great acclaim. He has won Best Actor awards at the Antalya Golden Orange, Adana Golden Boll, Ankara, and Istanbul Film Festivals. During this period, he shared the lead role with Meltem Cumbul in the film "Beşik Kertmesi." Recently, he has gained attention with his role in Netflix's "Terzi" series.
