Charles Cioffi

Eric Close, who began appearing on stage during his school years, postponed seriously pursuing his acting ambitions until after college. After studying communications in university, he focused on television acting, appearing in series such as "Santa Barbara," "Sisters," "Dark Skies," and "The Magnificent Seven." His breakthrough came in 2002 with "Taken," a science fiction series and a Steven Spielberg project, shortly before joining the cast of "Without A Trace." Close, who is married with two children, has a particular interest in outdoor sports such as mountaineering, skiing, tennis, and golf, as well as history books.
