Elysia Rotaru

America Ferrera is an American film and television actress. She is known for her roles in the films Real Women Have Curves and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She is also known for the television series Ugly Betty, for which she won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She was born in Los Angeles, California, to Honduran parents. She studied theatre at the University of Southern California. Her first film role was in Gotta Kick It Up! in July 2002. In 2007, she was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
