Hiro Sano

Sharlene, the daughter of a Haitian mother and a French-Canadian father, is fluent in both English and French. A dancer from the ages of 7 to 18, she trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary, working with renowned instructors Louise Lapierre and Eddie Toussaint of Les Grands Ballets. At just 13, she performed on the world-class stage of Place des Arts in Montreal. While working as a model and actress, she was discovered by Ms. Royer and acclaimed stunt coordinator Alan Oliney in 1999. Among her most recent accomplishments is her award-winning performance as Juliette in the French CBC's Le 7e Rond, which earned her the Best Actress award at the 2007 Soba Blackness Awards.
