John Adedayo B. Adegboyega, known professionally as John Boyega, is a British actor. He is best known for his role as Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. He was born in London to Nigerian parents, Abigail and Samson Adegboyega. He joined the Star Wars franchise in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Finn. He also starred as Jake Pentecost in Pacific Rim: Uprising.
