Mai Hirano

Sope Aluko is a Nigerian-born British-American actress born on July 5, 1975. Aluko was born in Nigeria. Because her father was in the diplomatic service, she grew up in the United Kingdom, leading to extensive travel. She eventually started boarding school at age ten and received her education in England, where she also earned a postgraduate degree in Marketing. Sope had previously attempted acting, but her family disapproved. While on vacation, she had a chance encounter with her future husband in America. She remained in and worked within Corporate America for fifteen years. After the death of her parents, she decided to pursue acting again.
