Marc Lauwrys

Philip Martin, born in Lebanon in 1953, is a British television director and screenwriter. Martin directed the 2004 television film Hawking, which was nominated for a British Academy Television Award for Best Single Drama; the final episode of the ITV drama Prime Suspect in 2006, which was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Drama Series and won Martin a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special; and two episodes of the first series of Wallander in 2008, which won a BAFTA for Best Drama Series and earned him another Emmy nomination.
