Robert Ober

Sedef Pehlivanoğlu is a theater and television actress. She was born in Istanbul in 1976. She completed her middle and high school education at Özel Moda College. She graduated from the Akademi Istanbul Theater department in 2000, having enrolled in 1997. During her theater education, she participated in plays staged by the school, including *Bernarda Alba's House*, *Hittite Sun*, and *Position Offside*. From 1998 to 2000, she played in *Cyrano de Bergerac*, staged by the Istanbul State Theaters. In 1999, she co-founded Kabare Taksim with 8 fellow actors. She played in *Havadan Sudan*, staged under the general artistic directorship of Oya Yücen. Between 2000 and 2003, she played the character of Meryem in the TV series *7 Numara*, produced by TRT. In the 2005 season, she played Gül in *Ters Köşe*, another TRT series. She is married to Volkan Girgin, her co-star from *7 Numara*.
