Babek Hamidiyan is an Iranian actor. Born in Tehran in 1981, he graduated from the Performing Arts Department of Islamic Azad University. He first performed in a play. Upon meeting Atilla Pesyani, he joined the Play Theater Group. He made his film debut in 2003 with Kademgâh. His performance in the 2004 film *Sol Ayağın Altındaki Tambur* earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Iran Cinema Celebration, although he later won the award for his brilliant acting in the film *Cambaz*. Babek Hamidiyan also starred in many masterpieces such as *Allah Yakındır* and *Çe*.
