Veysel Diker

Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill is a British actor. He is known for his roles in the television series The Tudors and as Superman in the DC Extended Universe. Born in 1983 on the island of Jersey, he is the fourth of five boys born to Marianne, a secretary, and Colin Cavill, a bank manager. Cavill was educated at St Michael's Preparatory School in Saint Saviour, Jersey, and Stowe School in Stowe. In the early 2000s, he began appearing in British television series and films. His roles include Melot in the 2006 film Tristan & Isolde and Humphrey in the 2007 film Stardust. His role as Charles Brandon in the four-season television series The Tudors (2007-2010) propelled him to fame in the United States and internationally. He also starred in Blood Creek (2009) and Immortals (2011). He achieved widespread fame portraying Superman in the 2013 film Man of Steel. In 2016, he co-starred with Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He also appeared in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Sand Castle. He was previously engaged to British showjumper Ellen Whitaker, but the couple separated before marrying.
