Alex Braunstein

Allison Howell Williams is an American actress. Born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut in 1988, she is the daughter of television news anchor Brian Williams and producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. She has a brother, Doug. She graduated from Yale University. She rose to fame for portraying Marnie Michaels in the HBO series *Girls* from 2012 to 2017. She starred as Rose in the 2017 film *Get Out*. She also appeared as Kit in the second season of *The Mindy Project*. She married internet entrepreneur Ricky Van Veen in 2015.
