Amrita Singh

Adam Douglas Driver is an American actor. Born in San Diego, California, he is the son of Nancy Needham and Joe Douglas Driver. After his parents' separation, he was raised in Mishawaka, Indiana, with his mother and stepfather, Rodney G. Wright. He was raised in a devoutly religious family. Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, he joined the Marines. After 2.5 years of service, he was discharged due to a bicycle accident. After attending Indiana University for a year, he studied acting at the prestigious Juilliard School. While performing in various theatre productions, he also worked as a waiter. He made his film debut in the 2011 film J. Edgar. He rose to fame with his role as Adam Sackler in the HBO series Girls, which began in 2012. He appeared in independent films such as Inside Llewyn Davis, Frances Ha, and While We're Young. In 2015, he portrayed Kylo Ren, one of the new characters in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, starting with The Force Awakens. He reprised the role in the subsequent films of the sequel trilogy. He garnered critical acclaim for his role in Jim Jarmusch's 2016 film Paterson. That same year, he played significant roles in Martin Scorsese's Silence and Steven Soderbergh's Logan Lucky. He married Joanne Tucker in 2013.
