Büşra Pekin

Birce Akalay is a Turkish theater, television, and film actress. Born in Istanbul to Sercan Akalay and Yasemin Ergun, she studied theater at Pera Fine Arts High School. After placing third in the 2004 Miss Turkey beauty pageant and representing Turkey in the Miss Europe pageant (reaching the semi-finals), she worked as a sports anchor for Star TV and TV8 from 2004 to 2007, hosting shows like "Şampiyonlar Ligi Özel" and "8. Etap." She played lead roles in the 2007 TV series "Kader" and "Senin Uğruna." She also made a guest appearance in the 2008 series "Asi." Her film roles include "Son Ders" (2008) and "Nefes" (2009). She appeared in the 2009 TRT1 series "Alayına İsyan" as Sevtap and starred alongside Emre Altuğ in the film "Sizi Seviyorum" (2009). In 2009, she played Zişan in ATV's "Kış Masalı" and hosted the television program "Sinema Dünyası" on TRT Müzik and later TV8. She co-starred with Murat Ünalmış in "Yer Gök Aşk," and with Mehmet Aslantuğ in the 2013 series "Ben Onu Çok Sevdim." She played the journalist Hülya in the 2016 film "Deliormanlı." She has been married twice: to Murat Ünalmış (2011-2012) and Sarp Levendoğlu (2014-2017).
