Çağan Efe Ak

Meral Onuktav, known professionally as Meral Çetinkaya, was a Turkish theater, television, and film actress. Born in Bursa in 1945, she worked with theater groups such as Dostlar Tiyatrosu and also directed films such as "Uçurtmayı Vurmasınlar" (Don't Shoot the Kite) and "Piano Piano Bacaksız" (Slowly, Legless). She achieved long-lasting success with her portrayal of Ayla Hanım in the television series "Bizimkiler." Following "Bizimkiler," she appeared in other popular series such as "Binbir Gece" (One Thousand and One Nights) as Peride and "Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki" (As Time Goes By) as Hasefe. She was married to the actor and writer Yavuzer Çetinkaya until his death in 1992.
