Ali Tufan Kıraç, known as Kıraç, is a singer and composer. He is one of the leading representatives of Turkish Anatolian rock music. He began his primary education in Göksun, Kahramanmaraş, where he was born, as the child of a teacher. In 1982, when he was in the fourth grade of primary school, his family moved to Istanbul due to his father's job transfer. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Hasköy, Istanbul. After graduating from high school, he studied Music Teaching at the Atatürk Education Faculty of Marmara University. In the early 1990s, he started his stage career in a bar in Ortaköy. His first album, Deli Düş, was released in 1998. He released the albums Bir Garip Aşk Bestesi in 2000, Zaman in 2001, and Kayıp Zaman in 2003. He composed unforgettable music for TV series such as Zerda, Bir İstanbul Masalı, and Aliye. In 2007, he composed the 100th Anniversary March for Fenerbahçe Sports Club. He completed his album Çık Hayatımdan in 2014. Kıraç, who married actress Ayşe Şule Bilgiç in 2008 after a long relationship, has a daughter, Elif Iraz, born in 2010, and a son, Çağrı Manas, born in 2012.
