Tardu Flordun was born on May 25, 1972, in Ankara, Turkey. His father is the renowned actor Macit Flordun. In 1995, he graduated from the Hacettepe University State Conservatory Theatre Department in Ankara with the highest score of 96. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a staff actor at the Ankara State Theatres, and from 1997 to 2008, he worked at the Izmit City Theatres, playing lead roles in plays such as Hamlet and Roberto Zucco. In 1998, Flordun starred in the film *Leoparın Kuyruğu* (The Leopard's Tail) alongside Yetkin Dikinciler and Devrim Nas. In 2000, he began his television acting career with the series *Evdeki Yabancı* (The Stranger in the House), sharing the lead role with Berna Laçin. In 2002, he appeared in the series *Efsane*, *Bir Tatlı Huzur*, and *İki Oda Bir Sinan*. He also played the character Kahraman in the series *Camdan Pabuçlar* (Glass Slippers). In 2005, he appeared in the series *Davetsiz Misafir* (Uninvited Guest), sharing the lead role with Berna Laçin, playing the famous and charming pop star Tarcan. He played the character Kerem İnceoglu in the series *Binbir Gece* (A Thousand and One Nights), which was watched in many countries outside of Turkey. He shared the lead role with Başak Köklükaya and Ahu Türkpençe in the series *Tek Başımıza* (On Our Own). In 2011, he played Çağlayan, the son of Türkan Saylan, in the film *Türkan*, which depicts the life of Türkan Saylan, and played the character Red Kit in the film *Behzat Ç. Seni Kalbime Gömdüm*.
