Craig David Dowsett

Born in Florida in 1954, Mary-Margaret Humes is a former Miss Florida and Miss USA 1975. After gaining attention in pageants, she was encouraged to go to Hollywood by Burt Reynolds. She achieved her dream by advertising her photo, name, and phone number on a billboard. This billboard was seen by Mel Brooks, who subsequently invited her for a reading for a part in History of the World, Part I (1981). The actress now lives a quieter life with her musician husband, Raul A. Bruce.
