Derek Theler

Joy Lauren, born October 18, 1989, is an American actress best known for playing Danielle Van de Kamp in the hit ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives. Of Danish descent, Lauren, born Joy Jorgensen, was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Galloway School and appeared in various productions by the Alliance Theatre. At age 11, she and her mother relocated from Atlanta to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
