Mel Fair has nearly 20 years of award-winning experience in the entertainment industry. Her resume includes work for NBC and CBS affiliates. While at the CBS affiliate in Fayetteville/Fort Smith, Arkansas, she earned Associated Press honors as a sports anchor, reporter, producer, and writer. Mel's experience also extends to ESPN and Spike TV cable programming. While at Spike TV, she won numerous International Automotive Media awards as a producer, director, writer, host, and reporter for top-rated automotive shows like TRUCKS! and Car and Driver Television. Mel has also appeared in over 15 independent films and countless episodic and daytime roles on shows such as Miami Vice, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The District, Miss Match, the 2003 Hunter series, General Hospital, and Passions; as well as CSI. In addition, Mel has lent her voice-over talents to numerous CD ROM projects as well as television and radio spots, including Shrek 2, US Cellular, Outback Steakhouse, Kawasaki, Polaris snowmobiles, Magic Mirror, Everquest II, and Tribes Vengeance, with KFC and Golden Corral being just a few more examples.
