Erica Cho

Elena Anaya Gutiérrez is a Spanish actress. Born in Palencia, Spain, she was the child of Elena and Juan José. She first gained attention in the film *Lucia y el sexo*, playing the role of Belén. She later had a small role in Pedro Almodóvar's *Talk to Her* (*Hable con ella*). In 2004, she gained recognition for her role as Aleera in the Hollywood film *Van Helsing*. In the 2006 film *Alatriste*, she shared the lead role with Viggo Mortensen. In 2017, she appeared as Doctor Poison in the Marvel film *Wonder Woman*. Anaya, who is gay, is in a relationship with costume designer Tina Afugu Cordero. They welcomed a son in 2017.
