Anastasia Griffith, a British actress born March 23, 1978, is known for her roles in the FX legal drama Damages and the NBC series Trauma. Griffith's first on-screen acting role was a small part in the 2004 television film *She's Gone*. Also in 2004, she appeared in more prominent roles in the television film *Dirty Filthy Love*, the comedy film *Alfie*, and the short film *Turn*. She also had starring roles in the British comedy *My Week with Marilyn* and guest appearances on other British comedies in 2005. After moving to New York in 2007, Griffith landed the role of Katie Connor in *Damages* after a last-minute audition just a month later. The role saw her using a faux American accent; she said that the producers were a little concerned initially, particularly because they already had an Australian, Rose Byrne, playing an American and were worried about having another American accent. So she addressed them throughout the audition with an American accent. Griffith returned to the series as a main cast member for the second season, which aired in 2009. Following her work on *Damages*, she guest starred on *Law & Order*.
