Gorden Lovitt

Asin Thottumkal, known as Asin, is an Indian actress who rose to fame with the 2008 film Ghajini. Born in Cochin, Kerala, India, Asin graduated with a degree in English Literature. She gained recognition through films in Tamil and Telugu. Her role in the 2005 Tamil film Ghajini (note: different from the Bollywood film of the same name) brought her to prominence. Her Bollywood debut, the 2008 film Ghajini, propelled her to stardom. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and was nominated for Best Actress. Following this success, she became a sought-after actress in Bollywood, starring in notable films like London Dreams, Housefull 2, and Khiladi 786. In 2016, she married businessman Rahul Sharma. Asin is multilingual, speaking seven languages including English, French, and several Indian dialects.
