Hakan Coşar

Emin Alper, born in 1974, received a degree in economics and history from Boğaziçi University, followed by a doctorate in Modern Turkish History from the Atatürk Principles and History of Revolution Institute at Boğaziçi University. His first feature film, "Tepenin Ardı," won numerous national and international awards, including the Caligari Film Prize at the Berlin Film Festival and Best Film at the Asia Pacific Film Awards. His second feature film, "Abluka," had its world premiere in the competition section of the Venice Film Festival in 2015. His latest film, "Kurak Günler," premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and was screened in the Un Certain Regard section.
