Usher Raymond, or simply Usher, is an American R&B musician with 5 Grammy Awards. He is one of the highest-awarded Black singers. He achieved a sales chart of 35 million with only 3 albums. In 1994, he was introduced to the music world with his debut album, Usher. Although this album didn't achieve very high sales, it drew attention to Usher. In 1997, after graduating from high school, he released his second album, My Way. The album achieved phenomenal success, selling 10 million copies. Usher, who instantly became a center of attention with his dance and voice, released his album 8701 in 2001. In March 2004, he released his album Confessions. The album broke records by selling 1.1 million copies in its first week. The album debuted at number one on almost all charts, including the American charts. The album sold 10 million copies in the US alone, receiving a Diamond Certification, and 15 million worldwide. With his songs Caught Up and Yeah, which stayed at number one for weeks, the singer broke another record by achieving the highest single circulation of 2004. With Confessions, Usher, who topped the Billboard album chart for eight consecutive weeks, became the first artist after The Beatles and the Bee Gees to have three singles simultaneously in the top 10 of the Billboard singles chart.
