Brittany Ann Daniel is an American actress, best known for her role as Jessica in the television series Sweet Valley High. The actress and twin sister of photographer Cynthia Daniel, was born in Gainesville, Florida, to Carolyn and C.B. Daniel. She also has an older brother, Brad, born in 1968. At age 11, she and her sister began modeling and appearing in commercials. In 1989, she and her sister made their acting debut in the television series The New Leave It to Beaver. In 1992, she starred as Mila Rosnovsky in the series Swans Crossing, moving to New York for the role. After high school, she and her twin sister Cynthia starred in Sweet Valley High, which brought them fame. While filming the series, she made her film debut in the 1995 movie The Basketball Diaries, working alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. After Sweet Valley High, she appeared in shows like Dawson's Creek and On Hostile Ground. In 2001, she appeared in Joe Dirt as David Spade's girlfriend, Brandy. Later, she appeared in shows such as That '70s Show, That '80s Show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and films like White Chicks and Little Man. She reprised her role as Brandy in the 2015 sequel to Joe Dirt. In 2014, Daniel was diagnosed with lymphoma but recovered after treatment.
