Hyeonsung Kim

Laura Dianne Vandervoort is a Canadian actress. Born in Toronto in 1984 to a Dutch father and a Canadian mother, she began practicing karate at age 7 and achieved a second-degree black belt by age 16. She also participated in numerous sports including soccer, basketball, and gymnastics. She had her first acting experience at age 13. After appearing in various Canadian programs, she began working in commercials and increasingly larger roles in television series and Disney films. She played Sadie Harrison in the television series *Instant Star* from 2004 to 2008. Her role as Kara Zor-El in *Smallville* significantly increased her fame. She also received acclaim for her role as Lisa in the series *V*. She starred as Elena in the fantasy series *Bitten*, which began in 2014. In 2017, she played Anna in *Jigsaw*, the latest installment of the famous horror series *Saw*.
