Jamila Webb

Jodie Auckland Whittaker is a British actress. Born in Skelmanthorpe, West Yorkshire in 1982, she gained recognition for her role in the 2006 film *Venus*. In 2014, she appeared in *Black Sea*, playing Chrissy, the wife of Robinson, portrayed by Jude Law. From 2013 to 2017, Whittaker starred as Beth in the television series *Broadchurch*. In 2017, she joined the cast of the iconic *Doctor Who* series as the Thirteenth Doctor, becoming the first woman to play the role. She married Christian Contreras in 2008 and has a child born in 2015.
