Joseph Marcell

William Gregory Magnussen, known as Billy Magnussen, is an American actor. He was born in Woodhaven, Queens, New York to Daina, a Lithuanian aerobics instructor, and Greg Magnussen, a kickboxer. At age 10, he moved to Cumming, Georgia. He trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He made a name for himself in theater productions and began acting in television series and films. He gained attention for portraying Casey Hughes in the final two years of the long-running American television series As The World Turns. He appeared as a guest actor in numerous series. With the 2014 film Into the Woods, he became known to cinema audiences. In the 2017 film Ingrid Goes West, he played the spoiled brother, Nicky, of social media phenomenon Taylor. In 2018, he appeared as Jed Milgrim in the series Maniac. In the 2019 film Aladdin, he played Prince Anders.
