Karina Kolokolchykova

Dua Lipa, born 22 August 1995, is a British singer and songwriter of Albanian descent. Born in London, she is the eldest child of Kosovar Albanian parents, Anesa (née Rexha) and Dukagjin Lipa, from Pristina. Her family is of Muslim background. She also has Bosnian ancestry through her grandmother. After working as a model, she signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 and released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album reached number 3 in the UK Albums Chart, and Lipa released eight singles from it, including "Be the One" and "IDGAF". "New Rules", which reached number 1 in the UK and number 6 in the US, achieved top 10 certification in many countries worldwide. In 2018, she won a Brit Award.
