Fuat Saka, born in Trabzon, Turkey in 1952, received art education in Istanbul and music education in France and Germany. He released his first album, "Yıkılır Zulmün Son Kaleleri," in 1982, followed by "Ayrılık Türküsü" a year later. After spending a considerable time abroad in the 1980s, he released "Kerem Gibi Nazım Hikmet Şiirleri" in 1984. His fourth album, "Sevdalı Türküler," came out in 1987, followed by "Nebengleis Kenardaki Ray" in 1988. This was followed by "Askaro" (1989), "Semahlar ve Deyişler" (1991), and "Şiirce" (1993). Known for his "Lazca-Caz" style, Saka released a children's album, "Torik Balıklar Ülkesinde," in 1994. Two years later, in 1996, he collaborated with Demir Gökgöl on "Arhavili İsmail." Saka, who also arranges music for both local and international musicians, released the first album in his Lazutlar series, "Lazutlar," in 1997, followed by "Sen" in 1998. "Lazutlar II" came out in 2000, and "Perçem Perçem" in 2001. "Lazutlar III," the third album in the series, was released in 2002. Saka, who acts as a cultural ambassador through his music, has given numerous international solo concerts and collaborated with musicians from Germany, France, Denmark, and Turkey. His band includes musicians from Germany, America, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. He maintains his musical life across Istanbul, Hamburg, and Paris.
