Laine Edwards

Murat Ünalmış is a television and film actor. Born and raised in Kayseri, Turkey, he moved to Istanbul after middle school. During high school, he played basketball professionally for Fenerbahçe Sports Club. He then graduated from Marmara University's Business Administration department. After university, he received acting training at Akademi Istanbul. Simultaneously with his training, he acted in the television series *Hayat Bağları*, *Sınırlı Aşk*, and *Kurşun Yarası*, and in the films *Üç Kadın*, *Deli Duran*, and *Sen Ne Dilersen*. He played the character Yusuf in the television series *Yer Gök Aşk*. He was married to actress Birce Akalay for 1.5 years between 2011 and 2012.
