Leyla Hazal Kaya, born in Gaziantep, Turkey in 1990, is a television and film actress. She became known throughout Turkey for her role as Özge, Genco's sister, in the TV series "Genco". At the age of 17, she enrolled in an agency at the urging of family friends. She appeared in several commercials, including those for Tofita, Ritmix, and Nescafe. Later, she acted in the series "Sıla," "Acemi Cadı," and "Taşların Sırrı." Her role as Nihal in the highly successful 2008-2010 adaptation of Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's "Aşk-ı Memnu" significantly boosted her fame. Most recently, she played Feriha in the series "Adını Feriha Koydum," sharing the lead role with Çağatay Ulusoy. In the autumn of 2013, she took on the role of Azra in the series "A.Ş.K.". Hazal Kaya graduated from the Italian High School in 2009 and enrolled in the Department of Performing Arts Management at Bilgi University. She has stated her desire to receive acting training in Italy and to pursue her acting career in America after completing her education.
