Lisa Siwe

David Al-Chokhachy, known professionally as David Chokachi, is an American actor. Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1968 to an Iraqi father and a Finnish mother, he developed an interest in water sports during his high school years, while also being a star player on the school's football team. In his free time, he enjoyed watching films. After graduating high school, he received a scholarship to study political science at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, graduating in 1990. That year, he began working for Congressman Gerry Studds in Washington, D.C., but temporarily put his political career aside when he responded to a modeling advertisement in a newspaper. After a successful audition, he quickly received offers for modeling and acting work. For two years, he commuted between Boston and New York, working as a model and appearing in commercials. Following his success in commercials, he landed his first film role in *With Honors*. His breakthrough role came playing lifeguard Cody Madison in the television series *Baywatch*, which brought him international recognition. This led to further opportunities in film, including playing a psychologically troubled killer in *Shadow of a Scream*, a ski instructor in the ABC television series *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch*, and a businessman in *Suddenly Susan*. He later appeared in series such as *Witchblade* and *Beyond the Break*, as well as numerous films. He was once married to Susan Brubaker and has one child. His hobbies include surfing, skiing, snowboarding, and camping.
