Matt Weinberg

Jaime Ray Newman is an American actress. Born in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to Marsha Jo and Raphael Newman, she has a sister, Beth Nicole. A Jew, Newman developed an interest in theatre and music from a young age. She studied at Boston University's College of Fine Arts, majoring in Theatre, and at Northwestern University, studying Drama and English. In 2000, she moved to Los Angeles and began securing roles in film and television. She appeared in Steven Spielberg's 2002 film *Catch Me If You Can* as Monica. That same year, she joined the television series *General Hospital* as Kristina Cassadine for about a year. She also played Mindy O'Dell in *Veronica Mars* during the 2006-07 season. From 2009-2010, she portrayed Tess Fontana in *Eureka* and Kat Gardener in *Eastwick*. Following roles in series such as *Red Widow*, *Mind Games*, and *Bates Motel*, she appeared as Sarah Lieberman in *The Punisher*, which began in 2017. Newman married screenwriter and director Guy Nattiv in 2012, and they have a daughter born in 2013.
