Michael Arden

Paul Kaye is a British comedian and actor born on December 15, 1964. He is known for his roles as the shock interviewer Dennis Pennis on The Sunday Show, New York lawyer Mike Strutter in MTV's Strutter, Thoros of Myr in HBO's Game of Thrones, and Vincent the Fox in the BBC comedy Mongrels. Dennis Pennis, the infamous interviewer created by Kaye and Hines, is one of Kaye's most well-known characters. With his dyed red hair, flamboyant jackets adorned with punk-style badges, and thick glasses, Pennis stood out from the crowd and asked celebrities unconventional questions ranging from playful to aggressive. The character briefly presented two episodes of Transmission, ITV's early 1990s independent music magazine programme, as Pennis before appearing on BBC2's The Sunday Show in 1995. The basic premise involved Kaye and a camera crew visiting film premieres, press events, and other assorted celebrity gatherings to conduct interviews with stars, interspersed with short sketches and character-driven vignettes.
