Salih Kalyon is a Turkish theater, television, and film actor. Born in Ağrı in 1946, he became a professional actor in 1964 with the Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu (Ankara Art Theater), directed by Asaf Çiyiltepe and Güner Sümer, in Cahit Atay's play "Sultan Gelin". After a year with Dostlar Tiyatrosu (Friends Theater), he returned to AST. Some of the plays he acted in include "Müfettiş" (The Inspector), "Mayın" (Mine), "Durand Bulvarı" (Boulevard Durand), "Tozlu Çizmeler" (Dusty Boots), "Linç" (Lynching), and "Ana" (Mother). In 1976, he founded his own company, A.Ç.T., which lasted 20 years. After a two-year break from theater, he returned to the stage in 1999 with the play "Sen Hiç Ateşböceği Gördün mü?" (Have You Ever Seen a Firefly?). Salih Kalyon also acted in television series such as "Bizimkiler" (Our Family), "Bir Demet Tiyatro" (A Bunch of Theater), and "Organize İşler" (Organized Affairs), and in films such as "Vizontele" and "Bana Bir Şeyhler Oluyor" (Something's Happening to Me). He continued his career with television series and appeared in the series "Fırtına" (Storm).
