Nick Shafir

Nicollette Sheridan is a British-American actress best known for her television roles. She is most famous for portraying Paige Matheson in *Knots Landing* and Edie Britt in *Desperate Housewives*. Born Sally Adams Savalas in Worthing, Sussex, England in 1963, she initially worked as a model, appearing in various magazines. Sheridan began her acting career in 1984 with the series *Paper Dolls*. Her breakthrough role came in 1986 with *Knots Landing* as Paige Matheson. Another memorable role was as Edie Britt in *Desperate Housewives*, which she starred in from 2004 to 2009. This role earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2005. She has had two short-lived marriages: to Harry Hamlin (1991-1992) and Aaron Phypers (2015-2016).
