Ülkü Ülker (1950-2016) was a Turkish actress and singer. While working as an elementary school teacher, she won a competition held by Ses Dergisi magazine in 1971, launching her film career. Alongside her film work, she studied singing with Ergüder Yoldaş and Reyman Eraydan for 10 years. Her performance in Atıf Yılmaz's 1973 film "Utanç" (Shame) earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. She acted in hundreds of films and TV series, including "Anayurt Oteli," "Karılar Koğuşu," and "Ağır Roman." After her blood values dropped, she was admitted to Ümraniye Education and Research Hospital. Following a week-long struggle, she passed away on January 31, 2016. Her funeral was held the following day at Ümraniye Merkez Mosque, and she was buried in Ihlamurdere Cemetery.
