Isabella Fuhrman is an American actress. Born in Washington, D.C. in 1997, her mother is Elina Kuzmits Fuhrman, a Russian-born journalist who immigrated to the US from the Soviet Union, and her father is consultant Nick Fuhrman. She has an older sister, Madeline. She spent her childhood in Atlanta. She began acting with guest appearances on Cartoon Network and subsequently appeared in numerous commercials. She rose to international fame for her role as Esther in the 2009 film *Orphan*, co-starring Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard. She also portrayed Clove in the first film of *The Hunger Games* series and appeared as Tessa Johnson in seasons 3 and 4 of the television series *Masters of Sex*. She has also starred in films such as *Cell* and *Dear Eleanor*.
