Richard Banks

Sandra Miju Oh is a Canadian actress of Korean descent. Born in Nepean, Ottawa in 1971, she gained recognition for her role in the television series *Arliss* in the mid-1990s. She appeared in the 2004 film *Sideways* as Stephanie. She achieved widespread fame for her role as Cristina Yang in the television series *Grey's Anatomy*, which aired from 2005 to 2014. For this role, she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture Made for Television in the show's first season. She also starred in films such as *Ramona and Beezus*, *Tammy*, and *Catfight*. She was married to American director Alexander Payne from 2003 to 2006.
