Robert Buckley

Payidar Tüfekçioğlu (1962-2017) was a Turkish theater and television actor, and voice actor. Born in Izmir, Tüfekçioğlu graduated from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University's theater department. After his conservatory training, he worked at the Bursa State Theater, Antalya State Theater, and Istanbul State Theater. He appeared in plays such as "Ödenmeyecek Ödemiyoruz", "Ayaktakımı Arasında", "Efrasiyab Hikayeleri", and "Yeraltından Notlar", as well as television series. He is best remembered for his role as İbrahim Velid in the television series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu". He also voiced the character Yusuf Miroğlu, played by Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, in the series "Deli Yürek". He passed away on May 17, 2017, in Istanbul due to liver failure. His funeral was held on May 19th, after a ceremony at the Üsküdar Tekel Stage and prayers at the Çengelköy Kerem Aydınlar Mosque, followed by burial at the Çengelköy Cemetery. He was married to another actress, Mine Tüfekçioğlu, and had a daughter named Tılsım Tüfekçioğlu.
