Philip Arditti, Actor. Born in 1980 in Geneva, Switzerland, to a Turkish Jewish family, Arditti received his early education in Istanbul. After graduating from Pierre Loti High School, he went to England for acting training. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 2004. He currently works at the National Theatre, one of London's most prestigious theatre groups. He simultaneously acts in various British television series and films. He particularly resonated with his role as Uday Hussein in the series House of Saddam. He also starred in Mike Leigh's 2007 film Happy-Go-Lucky. Philip Arditti also worked in Turkish productions, appearing in the 2012 TV series Son Aldı and Reha Erdem's 2014 film Şarkı Söyleyen Kadınlar. His mother, Nadia Arditti, is a sculptor, and his sister, Livia Arditti, is also an actress.
