Sasha Harari

Anna Mouglalis is a French actress of Greek origin. As her surname suggests, her family originates from Muğla, Turkey. She spent her childhood in the Var department in the south of France, before her family moved to Nantes. In 2001, she graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique de Paris (CNSAD) in Paris, studying under Daniel Mesguich. She began her acting career in 1997 with the play La Nuit du Titanic (Titanic Night), staged in Paris. That same year, she was chosen by director Francis Girod for his film Terminale (Terminal). In 2000, she starred alongside Isabelle Huppert in Claude Chabrol's Merci pour le chocolat (Thanks for the Chocolate). Following her attention-grabbing performance in Jean-Pierre Limosin's Novo in 2002, she went to Italy to star in Roberto Andò's Sotto falso nome (Under a False Name). In 2005, she appeared in two Italian films: Michele Placido's Romanzo criminale (Criminal Novel) and Mare buio (Dark Sea), alongside Giorgio Lo Cascio. Besides her acting career, she has also been a successful fashion model, known for her unique beauty. In 2002, she was chosen by Karl Lagerfeld for the advertising campaign of Allure de Chanel perfume. In 2007, she gave birth to a son, Saul, with director Samuel Benchetrit.
