Steve Gomer

Elisha Ann Cuthbert is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as Kim Bauer in the television series 24 and for her role in the 2004 film The Girl Next Door. Born in Calgary in 1982, she is the eldest child of Patricia and Kevin Cuthbert, and has two siblings, Jonathan and Lee-Ann. She began modeling at the age of seven. In 1997, she starred in her first film, Dancing on the Moon. After appearing in various Canadian films and graduating from high school, she moved to Los Angeles in 2000. Her move to Hollywood proved pivotal, leading to her breakthrough role in the 2001 TV series 24. Playing Kim Bauer, the daughter of Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer, opened doors to bigger roles. Her Hollywood film career began in 2003 with Old School and Love Actually. She gained recognition for her role in The Girl Next Door, portraying a former pornographic actress. Subsequent film roles included House of Wax (also starring Paris Hilton), The Quiet (2006), Captivity, He Was a Quiet Man, and My Sassy Girl (2008). She also appeared in music videos for Weezer's "Perfect Situation" and Paris Hilton's "Nothing in This World". From 2011 to 2013, she starred as Alexi in the television series Happy Endings. Starting in 2016, she played Abby, a main character, in The Ranch. A huge ice hockey fan, and having dated several hockey players in the past, she married hockey player Dion Phaneuf in 2013. Frequently appearing on various magazines' "Sexiest" lists, Cuthbert has publicly stated that she has always used a body double for nude scenes in her films.
