Susan Wokoma

Nursel Köse, an actress born in Malatya, went to Germany at the age of 17 to study architecture at Cologne University. While studying, she also worked as an actress, comedian, writer, and poet. She founded Yerkozmetikçileri, the first foreign female cabaret group in Germany, where she served as director, actress, and lyricist. The group toured Germany from 1992 to 2007. She played the character of Yeter in Fatih Akin's film 'Gegen die Wand' ('Head-On'). For this performance, she received Best Supporting Actress awards at the 44th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the Ankara International Film Festival, and the 1st Yeşilçam Awards. She married Ulrich Mertin in 2018.
