Glen Thomas Jacobs, known by his ring name Kane, is a Spanish-American professional wrestler. Born in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid in 1967, Kane worked as a substitute teacher before starting his wrestling career in the United States. Kane initially gained notoriety by attacking The Undertaker. He interfered in many of The Undertaker's matches against wrestlers such as Mankind and HBK, causing The Undertaker to lose. Later, they teamed up, forming one of the WWE's greatest tag teams. In his early career, Kane was a masked wrestler. He later wrestled unmasked after losing a match against Triple H. Kane had a match with Stone Cold Steve Austin; fearing Kane would kill himself by setting himself on fire if he lost, The Undertaker intervened to ensure Kane's victory, though Kane later lost to Stone Cold. He later became a two-time World Tag Team Champion with Mankind and held the tag team championship with The Undertaker. As of 2007, he worked with the SmackDown and ECW brands. In 2006, he appeared in the film *See No Evil*. Kane and The Undertaker have many tag team championships together. The Undertaker is Kane's half-brother, and together they formed the Brothers of Destruction tag team. They also faced each other at WrestleMania 14, a match considered The Undertaker's toughest WrestleMania match, which The Undertaker won. This match included two chokeslams and four tombstone piledrivers. Kane has won the World Tag Team Championship eight times, the WCW Tag Team Championship once, the WWE Tag Team Championship once, and the Intercontinental Championship twice. Along with his brother, The Undertaker, he is considered one of the best wrestlers in WWE history. His finishing move is the Chokeslam. At WrestleMania 24, he won the ECW Championship from Chavo Guerrero. He was drafted to RAW in the 2008 Draft Lottery. At Night of Champions, he lost the ECW Championship to Mark Henry in a triple threat match also involving Big Show. After his transfer to RAW, he was angered by his inability to compete for the Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk. Punk defeated him in a one-on-one match, further fueling his anger. At The Great American Bash, he interfered in the Heavyweight Championship match between Batista and CM Punk, ensuring Punk retained the title. At WrestleMania 25, he came close to winning the Money in the Bank ladder match but CM Punk ultimately won.
