Hakan Gerçek is a theater, television, and film actor. He was born in Eskişehir. He graduated from the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Theater Department. In 1986, he joined the Kent Oyuncuları with the play "Nice Years." Some of the plays he performed with Kent Oyuncuları include "Something to Do," "Little Happinesses," "Toys of Loneliness," "Hand in Hand on Broadway," "Horseshoes," "Glass Coop," "Fehim Pasha Mansion," "Lover of Eşekdağı," "The Play's the Thing," "Sounds," "Bells," "We," and "The Lieutenant of Inishmore." He won the Afife Best Actor Awards with "Barefoot Avni Dilligil," "Glass Coop," and "The Lieutenant of Inishmore." He directed the youth play "Invisible Friends" at Kent Oyuncuları. Hakan Gerçek, who taught acting at the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory for a time, also acts in various television series and does voice acting. He has acted in television series such as "Ruhsar," "Uninvited Guest," and "Governor," and in films such as "Döngel Karhanesi" and "Giant with Blue Eyes." He has a child named Ekin.
