Tsunetaka Ema

Temel Pulat Gürsu is a director, screenwriter, and actor. Born in Trabzon as the child of Mediha and Hayati Gürsu, he attended primary and secondary schools in various Anatolian cities due to his father's civil service. After graduating from Bakırköy High School, he received training in editing, synchronization, negative cutting, and laboratory units at Acar Film Studios. He later worked as an assistant to renowned directors such as Süreyya Duru, Orhan Elmas, Ülkü Erakalın, Tunç Başaran, Orhan Aksoy, Yücel Hekimoğlu, Sırrı Gültekin, Aram Gülyüz, Nejat Saydam, and Ertem Eğilmez. Temel Gürsu, the brother of actor Tanju Gürsu (1938-2016), is married to actress Canan Perver and has two sons, Burak and Emrah.
